Why Hilary Duff Is 'No Longer Responding' to Questions About Baby No. 4

The Disney Channel alum announced in December that she is expecting her fourth baby, her third with husband Matthew Koma.

Hilary Duff may be counting down the days to the arrival of her fourth child, but don't expect the Disney Channel alum to answer anymore questions about her pregnancy. After announcing in December that she and husband Matthew Koma are expecting their fourth baby together, and after documenting her pregnancy over the past several weeks, Duff told fans that she is 'no longer responding' to certain questions about baby No. 4.

The Lizzie McGuire alum – who is also mom to daughters Mae, 2, and Banks, 4, with Koma and shares son Luca, 11, with ex-husband Mike Comrie – gave the update in an April 21 post to her Instagram Stories, per In Touch Weekly. In the message, Duff wrote, "Hi friends – This is meant in the kindest tone (I promise) I am no longer responding to texts or [DMs] about 'when baby is coming!'"

"I know everyone is checking in with love and humor, however, trust me nobody wants it more than me!!!!!" she went on ot acknowledge. "Babies come when they are ready. I am trying my best to be patient! The days are long and uncomfortable. Promise I will let you know."

Duff did not reveal her due date when she announced she was pregnant in a December 2023 social media post. The actress shared the news at the time by posting her family's holiday card, which showed Duff with her hand on her baby bump. A message on the card read, "so much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew." She captioned the post, "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch."

Since making the exciting announcement, the actress has continued to document her pregnancy journey on social media, sharing plenty of adorable baby bump photos. In her most recent post on April 16, Duff shared a photo of herself getting acupuncture, joking in the caption, "Pretty slow week around here. And gently trying to give baby the eviction notice."

Duff and Koma first met when they collaborated on her 2015 album Breathe In. Breathe Out. After becoming engaged in May 2019, nearly seven months after they welcomed daughter Banks together, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home in December 2019. As they prepare to welcome their third child together, they have seemingly closed the door on having more children, with Koma revealing in March that he had a vasectomy.
