It's no secret that Julianne Hough has a killer body, but it was a bit of a secret how she got it — until now!
The actress and former DWTS pro spoke to Us Weekly for their Best Bodies issue, and revealed a few tricks she uses to keep her physique in tip top shape. “I mix it up all the time and I think that kind of shocks your body,” Hough shared. “I do dance cardio stuff, whether it’s Body by Simone or Tracy Anderson. I do SoulCycle, I do CorePower Yoga.” "I like to try a bunch of stuff," she said.
She also dished about her mindset regarding exercise, sharing that it's not about how she looks, but how she feels after a workout.
"To work out for me, it used to be a what I look like thing, and that was when I was younger," Hough said. "But now I need it for my mental health. If I don't work out, I don't feel like I've started my day correctly."
"It's all about taking time for myself," she added.
Hough also shared that her healthy lifestyle is just that — a lifestyle, rather than a goal she set for herself.
“I actually fluctuate quite regularly, but I distribute my weight evenly,” she added, although she did admit her favorite body part is her stomach “because my stomach never gets rolls even if I’m 15 pounds heavier!”
The actress, who is engaged to hockey player Brooks Laich, also revealed that she won't change her routine too much prior to her wedding.
"I don't want to fluctuate because that's harder work," she admitted. "I don't think I'll do a pre-wedding workout diet thing because I want to look like me."
