There are a lot of surprises that come in the delivery room, but if you've opted to find out your baby's gender before they're born, that's usually one surprise you tick off your birth list.
But, those ultrasounds aren't always totally accurate at telling you what gender your baby will be as one mom discovered!
Koto Nakamura was told that she was expecting a little girl and Australian photographer Jessica Jackson, the owner of Itty Bitty Photography in Hobart, Tasmania, was in the delivery room during her labor and birth.
According to The Huffington Post, Nakamura has been told at previous ultrasounds that baby was a girl and when the doctors announced the baby she had just given birth to was a boy, Jackson was able to capture that exact moment and the shock that went with it.
"This photo was taken the moment Koto looked at me for clarification that her daughter was actually a son," Jackson told The Huffington Post. "Koto had thought she had misheard or misunderstood the doctor. She thought he was joking!"
"They were shocked initially, but then after a few minutes and they could comprehend and understand what had happened, they were so happy and discussing baby boy names and planning camping adventures with their little man," Jackson added.
When Jackson posted that amazing photo of Nakamura's reaction, the images quickly went viral for her amazing expression, but that doesn't mean she's not happy.
Nakamura told Today, "I was shocked for a few seconds, and then it didn't matter if it was a girl or a boy."
