In all of the hysteria surrounding Ric Flair and his serious health issues, there was one person of interest who remained silent.
Charlotte Flair, Ric’s daughter, and current WWE Superstar had yet to make any mention of her father’s health. Naturally, being so close to the situation her priority was to make sure her dad was going to be OK, rather than tweet support.

Earlier this morning, Charlotte made a post to Instagram, thanking fans for the emotional support:
“Hi guys, On behalf of my family and I, we want to THANK everyone for the prayers, texts, calls and support. Our Dad is a FIGHTER and your continued thoughts and prayers MEAN THE WORLD to us.We will update everyone when we have more information.”
Yesterday, Ric Flair was placed into a medically induced coma to undergo surgery. While Flair was checked into an Atlanta ICU on Saturday for heart issues, yesterday’s surgery is believed to be non-heart related, according to F4WOnline.com.
From the same report, Flair was already scheduled for a surgery this week, but it’s unknown if yesterdays’ operation was the one already on Flair’s medical docket. Regardless, Flair’s situation is still being called “extremely serious.”
Flair’s fight with mortality has galvanized wrestling community as the past and present WWE Superstars rushed to publically support their hero:
