Beth Newell's birth story is unlike most people's. It started in a Honda Fit and ended with a brand new car.
The comedian and creator of The Reductress recently gave birth, but not in a hospital. Newell delivered her baby in the back seat of a Honda Fit outside the Mamaroneck School of Rock.
Afterward, she tweeted a photo of her and her new addition, joking, "@Honda, earlier today I gave birth to my daughter in the back of a Honda Fit. It is a mess. Can I have a free car?"

What Newell probably didn't expect, was Plaza Honda's reply, offering her a free three-year lease on a 2016 Accord or CR-V.

The offer could not have come at a better time. Newell and her husband's own vehicle had broken down just a week earlier, meaning she actually gave birth in her sister's car.
Thankfully for her sister, the dealership cleaned the car for free. They even threw in a onesie and some diapers for the new bundle of joy.
