Meeting a music legend can be daunting and even celebrities aren’t immune to embarrassing themselves in front of their idols. Little Big Town’s Jimi Westbrook found that out firsthand when meeting Willie Nelson for the first time.
Westbrook took to Twitter to reveal that, when meeting Nelson, he accidentally introduced himself as bandmate Kimberly Schlapman.

“Ok… I just met Willie Nelson… Kimberly introduced herself right before me. Then I shook his hand and said Hi… I’m Kimberly…,” Westbrook wrote alongside an embarrassed emoji. He later shared a photo of the band with Nelson.

Fans were quick to relate with Westbrook’s moment of being star struck, with one fan replying to the tweet, “I’d do the same thing if I met Willie!”
