Florida Georgia Line singer Tyler Hubbard and his wife, Hayley, are currently expecting their first child, and at a gender reveal party back in June, the pair learned they were having a boy.
As it turns out, however, the test was wrong and the couple will actually be welcoming a baby girl.

The duo shared the news on Instagram Friday in two separate posts, expressing their shock and joy at the mix-up.
“Baby Hubbard’s keeping us on our toes [and] has another announcement to make!! It’s not a boy! It’s a GIRL!!!” Hayley wrote alongside a photo of her husband kissing her stomach. “Our hearts are exploding with joy all over again! And shock! And excitement!”
Hubbard shared a snap of the duo kissing as their dog, Harley, lounges on the grass.
“Gods got jokes……After thinking we are having a boy for the last few months, turns out the blood test was wrong and we’re actually having a little girl,” he wrote.
“Woe… so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then,” the singer continued. “Just keeping us on our toes,” adding the hashtag, “daddy’s girl.”
The couple previously shared with PEOPLE that they are expecting their little one in December.
“”There’s a lot of excitement,” Tyler said of welcoming their newborn. “It’s something we’ve looked forward to for a while.”
