Anna Faris and Chris Pratt shocked the Internet when they announced their separation Sunday, and a recent interview with Faris in which she referred to her relationship with Pratt as “tricky” is now making the rounds online.
In July, Faris spoke to People about navigating life as part of a celebrity power couple, which she and Pratt certainly were.

“I don’t think that’s something, when you’re an actor, that you’re prepared for,” the actress noted of being a part of such a high-profile pairing.
“There are two different roles that you play โ the one on-camera and the one in public,” she continued. “That’s the tricky part.”
In the same interview, Faris shared that normal activities helped the couple to stay grounded amidst their hectic lives.
“Chris loves to work in the garage and I love to do laundry and watch reality television,” she said. “Just normal people.”
The couple, who shares 4-year-old son Jack, announced their split in a joint statement on social media Sunday.
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating,” a message on Pratt’s Facebook read. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”
