Aaron Carter recently revealed that he is bisexual, and the singer gave his first performance since sharing the news at a gay bar near his hometown in Brandon, Florida.

Carter thanked the LGBT community for their support before calling out a few male fans he found handsome. He then revealed a new song, "Hard to Love," that he shared is about his ex. After receiving a warm response from the crowd, Carter became visibly emotional and had to take a moment before beginning the song, as seen in a video obtained by TMZ.

Last week, Carter revealed that he split from ex-girlfriend Madison Parker, telling The Bert Show that his sexuality played a part in their breakup.

I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn't really understand it. She didn't want [to]," he said. "And that was it. So we left it mutual and parted ways."

Now that he's single, Carter appears to be ready to mingle, as he asked actress Chloe Grace Moretz on a date on Twitter this week.

"Mmmm may I take you to dinner @ChloeGMoretz ?" he wrote. "Hey @ChloeGMoretz - let's set up a date. The crush is mutual."

Moretz had previously told Variety that she had a crush on Carter as a child.

"When I was 4 years old, I thought Aaron Carter was so cool. My friend—when we were both little babies back in Georgia—she liked Aaron Carter, too, and we used to fight over who would get Aaron Carter one day," she recalled. "Who knows? Maybe we'll meet."
