Watch Beyonce's Mom Tina Knowles Lawson Gush Over Daughter's Newborn Twins

Tina Knowles Lawson is a very proud grandmother.

She spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the 19th Annual DesignCare in Los Angeles on Saturday, both confirming the names of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's new twins and revealing how the family is adjusting to their new additions.

"We're very excited!" Lawson gushed. She confirmed that the baby's names are Rumi and Sir, but said that Beyoncé herself would have to explain the significance.

Lawson also said that while her daughter and son-in-law have their hands full with three children, the couple is excited and having a "wonderful experience."

The proud grandmother also revealed that Blue Ivy, 5, has taken to her new job as big sister.

"She's very proud and very excited," Lawson said. "She's a good big sister, she really is."

Lawson's husband, Richard Lawson, echoed her sentiment.

"She cares for them a lot," he added.

Beyoncé shared the first photo of twins Rumi and Sir on her Instagram on Thursday. The photo has since gathered over nine million likes.
