We are just days away from the Dancing With the Stars official cast announcement revealing which of our favorite celebrities will be strutting their stuff in the series’ milestone 25th season.

It’s hard to believe the ABC reality competition premiered in 2005. Bringing us some of our favorite celebrities paired up with the country’s greatest dancers and choreographers, the show has dazzled audiences from the very start.

While the “best” can be subjective if you’re Len or Bruno, there have been some stellar performances over the years that have just stuck in out memory for viewers at home. Ahead of the show’s season premiere this September, we look back at some of the best performances of all-time.

Scroll through for some of the best performances and grab some tissues too!

Bindi Irwinโ€™s tribute to father, Steve

Nearly 10 years ago, the world lost “Crocodile Hunter,” Steve Irwin after a stingray fatally stung him. With his two children just kids at the time, his eldest, Bindi followed his example most respectfully and when she turned 18, honored his memory on primetimeย TV. During her time on the show’s 21st season, Bindi won the hearts of America with her tribute to Irwin with partner, Derek Hough. And if you recall, you will need tissues before watching.

Amy Purdy dances to โ€œHumanโ€

Amy Purdy lost both her legs below the knee at the age of 19 after developing a form of bacterial meningitis. But that never stopped her from moving forward. Not only did she become world-class snowboarder, but in 2014, she competed on Dancing With the Stars. Partnered up with Derek Hough, Purdy wore pointed prosthetic feet and wowed audiences with every move that was fluid and natural. Her performance to the track, “Human” is one that definitely displays Purdy at her best.

Alfonso Riberioโ€™s Carlton

During the show’s 19th season, plenty at home were hoping beloved ’90s sitcom star, Alfonso Ribeiro would pull out his famous Carlton dance from NBC’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. With audiences not having seen Ribeiro perform his character’s signature moves since the show’s finale in 1996, you can bet he too was looking for the best opportunity to swing it out โ€” and his jazz routine with partner, Witney Carson made it the perfect moment.

Jana Kramerโ€™s insane chemistry with Gleb Savchenko

If there’s one thing the show can certainly bring, it’s the intense chemistry that you can’t even find in a soap opera. With dancing being a prelude to, ahem, lot of things as Sylvia Plath might say, one of the most sexiest dances in recent years came from Jana Kramer and her partner, Gleb Savchenko. The two were on fire and later put out, literally, with water.

Nyle DiMarco performs to โ€˜The Sound of Silenceโ€™

During Season 22, audiences were blown away by the dedication and love for dance by deaf actor, model and activist, Nyle DiMarco. While dancing to the beat and understanding his partner Peta Murgatroyd might have seemed like a challenge at first, he was the kind who dove headfirst and nailed it every time. Advancing to the finals, DiMarco performed a freestyle dance to “The Sound of Silence” and dedicated it to the deaf. Grab some tissues, again.

James Hinchcliffeโ€™s Viennese Waltz

During the show’s 23rd season, James Hinchcliffe proved he was more than just a professional racecar driver. After an accident on the track almost claimed his life, Hinchcliffe had a second chance to demonstrate his passion for life. Unfortunately, when his partner Sharna Burgess was hit with a knee injury, heย had to partner up with Jenna Johnson โ€” but that didn’t stop him, clearly. His Viennese Waltz was not only the best of the season, garnering a perfect score, it has raked up more than 8 million views on YouTube, the most of any Dancing With the Stars performance on its official ABC channel.
