Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Pfeiffer Star in Creepy New ‘Mother!’ Clip

There is a lot of mystery and intrigue surrounding Darren Aronofsky’s new horror-thriller Mother!, and both the mystery and intrigue are only going to get deeper when you watch this latest clip above, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Pfeiffer!

Mother! follows a couple (Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem) who see their relationship tested by the arrival of strange guests at their home. These guests (Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris) begin to terrorize and/or enthrall the couple, as secrets and schemes both begin to come to light, in the dark of night.

Having Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky’s name on this film, lends it a certain amount of cinematic authenticity, even though we technically still don’t know what the film is all about. For most viewers, the headlining cast of Lawrence, Bardem, Pfeiffer and Harris (along with appearances from the likes of Domhnall Gleeson and Kirsten Wiig) will be enough of a sell.
