After announcing her engagement to singer-songwriter, Ryan Hurd on social media last month, country crooner, Maren Morris is sharing with fans an update of her wedding plans. And from the looks of it, it’s going pretty well.
Morris shared an image on her Twitter with the caption, “When people ask how our wedding planning is goingโฆ” alongside the emoji of two beer mugs clinking in celebration.

Earlier this week, Morris sat down with CMT Hot 20 Countdown host, Cody Alan and revealed that she was actually quite surprised about the proposal.
“I really had no idea,” she admits, disclosing she wore sweatpants and glasses at the time. “I really did not look cute at all, that’s how I knew he was serious.”
The “80s Mercedes” singer shared a series of photographs to her Instagram and Twitter of her and Hurd following their engagement, with the caption that simply read, “Yes” with an engagement ring emoji.
The photographs Morris shared are of the acclaimed country singer and songwriter sitting in her beau’s lap, her hand with a glimmering ring in focus and a snap of the two gazing into each other’s eyes.
Hurd also shared an image on Instagram of him and Morris on boat earlier Sunday, with the caption, 7/3/17, denoting the date of their engagement.
Morris’ fiancรฉ, Hurd, is best known for penning Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe’s single, “Lonely Tonight,” along with Lady Antebellum‘s “You Look Good” off their seventh studio album that released this past June.
