Country singer, LeAnn Rimes is proving that nothing epitomizes summer more than a fresh, new haircut.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the 34-year-old Jackson, Mississippi native debuted a brand new shorter, lighter 'do that is feeding us some serious hair envy.
Known to sport longer, curly locks, Rimes shared two images on Friday evening via Instagram's slideshow feature of her looking into the camera with her new hairstyle on fleek.
Rimes captioned the image with a quote by Coco Chanel, that read, "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life."
With the power of a good haircut proving one's style stays ever chic, Rimes right on to agree with Chanel, continuing, "Right on Coco! Loving the newness," she wrote with heart emojis, alongside the hashtag, "long hair, don't care."
Rimes went on to thank her Los Angeles hairstylist, Mateo Sifuentes, writing, "It was time to feel a bit lighter on the outside to match what I feel on the inside."

The singer's stylist also took to Instagram to share his piece of work, with a black and white image of Rimes. Praising her for getting out of her usual look, Sifuentes wrote Rimes has never gone this short with her hair, but was incredibly proud of her for changing it up.
"Proud of her for just going for it! Comfort zone? Nah, we're good," he wrote.
