Country singer, Blake Shelton has announced plans for a six-song live EP set to release at the end of this month.
The Voice judge took to social media on Monday to make the big announcement, sharing with fans that he would be releasing an EP, titled, Blake Shelton (Live), featuring a set he recorded during pop-up shows in Nashville during this year’s 2017 CMA Music Festival.

“My favorite thing in the world is playing for y’all,” Shelton captioned alongside an image he shared to Instagram. “We’ve got six LIVE songs from our surprise set at CMA Fest!”
Shelton gave fans a sneak peek at the live tracks via Instagram, adding, “Did y’all mark your damn calendars yet??”
Fans were ecstatic, taking to social media to share their excitement with some asking when new music would be arriving soon. Shelton has been busy this summer, spending much of his time with girlfriend, Gwen Stefani and her children before they he returns to judging The Voice this September.
But don’t count him out on new music just yet. Entertainment Tonight reports Stefani is working on a Christmas album and will feature a track co-written by the dynamic duo, titled “You Make It Feel like Christmas.”
The 41-year-old singer and songwriter recently earned his 24th No. 1 hit with his most recent single, “Every Time I Hear That Song” off his 2016 album, If I’m Honest.
The Blake Shelton (Live) EP will be available on streaming services on Aug. 25.
