Pierce Brosnan Shares 'Mrs. Doubtfire' Photo, Remembers Robin Williams Days Before Anniversary of His Death

In a new Instagram post, Pierce Brosnan has shared a message honoring Robin Williams, his Mrs. Doubtfire co-star.

The post is a picture of the "drive by fruiting" of Mrs. Doubtfire, where Williams' character throws a piece of fruit at Brosnan's character's head.

"I remember this day like it was yesterday ...it was a San Francisco morning on the set of "Mrs Doubtfire" ...a drive by fruiting," Brosnan captioned the photo.

"I thought we would be there all morning trying to get the shot, Robin nailed it on the second take," he added.

"I am so proud to have been part of that movie and to have known the great Robin Williams," he said.

Williams passed away on August 11, 2014, after completing suicide.
