The Disney Channel has served as a launching pad for a seemingly endless number of celebrities. While many have gone on to become famous actors and singers, there are a few that stand as becoming the most handsome now that they are adults.
A number of the male celebrities on this list weren’t always the hunks that they are today. In fact, several of them portrayed goofy characters on their respective shows. Despite the way they may have gotten their start in the entertainment industry, these men are total heartthrobs nowadays.

First up: Dave Benson – Zeke from Wizards of Waverly Place
Fans will remember Dan Benson as the nerdy yet hilarious Zeke from Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place. He was always a character that could help lighten the mood with humorous moments like his “alien speak.”
He got his start doing appearances on Disney and Nickelodeon shows like Zoey 101, Phil of the Future and Drake and Josh.
Since his days on Disney, Benson’s acting career has been rather low key. He has appeared on a handful of movies, but mainly stuck with small time TV appearances, according to ScreenRant.
Nowadays, Benson no longer looks like his nerdy character from Wizards, but is quite a handsome man. Most recently, he wrapped production on his latest supporting role in Killing Diaz.
Shia LaBeouf – Louis Stevens from Even Stevens
Shia LaBeouf memorably got his start as Louis Stevens from Disney Channel’s popular show, Even Stevens. He portrayed a young, spastic boy who surprised viewers with his boyish charm. After a spinoff movie based on the show, LaBeouf went on to become a Hollywood superstar and become quite handsome.
He has starred in movies such as Holes, Disturbia and Transformers. As LaBeouf has gotten older, he has transformed from the curly-headed goofball into a serious star with major acting chops.
Many of LaBeouf’s recent roles have been in rather controversial films, and some of his fans believe that it has taken him down a dark road in his personal life. Despite some of his past issues, LaBeouf definitely fits into the category of Disney stars that have grown up to be attractive.
AJ Trauth – Twitty From Even Stevens
AJ Trauth may not remain as one of the most popular names on the list, but he definitely fits the bill of Disney child stars that grew up to become quite attractive. He portrayed Twitty, the best friend of Shia LaBeouf’s character in Even Stevens in the early 2000’s. Trauth also voiced a character, Josh Mankey, on Disney’s Kim Possible.
The 30-year-old actor has gone on to appear on a variety of TV shows including House, Numb3rs, 7th Heaven, and Rules of Engagement. On the whole, however, Trauth’s acting career has stayed low key since his Disney days.
Trauth is now married to singer/actress Leah Pipes. The two tied the knot back in 2014.
Nick Jonas – Nick Lucas from Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream
While his fans around the world know him as a pop musician, Nick Jonas got his early start alongside his two older brothers in guest spots on Hannah Montana. The Jonas Brothers were featured in the episode “Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas.”
Because the episode was so well-received, Disney decided to give the trio their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream. From this point forward, the band continued to appear with other superstars such as Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and many others.
After the Jonas Brothers departed from the Disney channel, they went on to start their own solo careers. As for Nick, he has gone on to pen a number of hit singles such as “Jealous,” “Close” and “Chains.”
Zac Efron – Troy Bolton from High School Musical
Of all the young actors to appear on the Disney channel, Zac Efron may well be the most successful. He made his film debut with the lead role of Troy Bolton in High School Musical, and the appearance launched him to stardom as a teen heartthrob.
After starring in Disney musicals, Efron has gone on to compile an impressive acting résumé. He has starred in movies such as the Baywatch reboot, 17 Again, Charlie St. Cloud, and Neighbors 1 and 2.
Most noticeably about Efron, his looks have changed dramatically as he has put in some serious work in the gym. His toned build even landed him an MTV Movie Award in 2015 for “Best Abs on Film.”

The 36-year-old Oscar-nominee appeared alongside big names like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears at the time but now has become one of the biggest hunks of his time. He won over the hearts of many in his role as Noah in 2004’s The Notebook and it still stands as one of his hallmark performances.

Justin Timberlake launched into the stratosphere of stardom as one of the members of the boy band *NSync. He and his other bandmates packed out arenas and concert halls across the world with their catchy songs like “Bye, Bye, Bye,” and “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”
While many became familiar with Timberlake from his time with *NSync, he actually got his starts on the Disney Channel in the ’90s as a Mouseketeer on The All-New Mickey Mouse Club. He starred alongside his pal Ryan Gosling, ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, and a bevy of other wildly popular celebs.
Timberlake has gone on to become a powerhouse in both the acting and music industries. He has starred in films such as Friends With Benefits, The Social Network and In Time. The 36-year-old father-of-one also pursued a solo career in music and he has won a double-digit number of Grammy awards with hit songs like “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” “Suit & Tie” and “SexyBack.”
