Abby Lee Miller’s check-in date for her federal prison sentence has been delayed, Entertainment Tonight reports.
The former Dance Moms star was slated to turn herself in on Friday to begin serving her one year and one day sentence for bankruptcy fraud. The new date for Miller’s surrender is July 12. No reason has been given for the delay.

Miller was sentenced on May 9. In addition to the prison time, Miller was ordered to pay a $40,000 fine and serve two years of probation after release.
At the sentencing hearing Miller cried as she asked the judge for leniency.

“My friends and colleagues have shed tears because of my careless mistakes. I have accepted responsibility for my actions and plead guilty to the two charges against me,” she said. “I know that my future is uncertain. I can only assure you that I will never be in front of a court again.”
Following her sentencing Miller said that she felt “peaceful” and was already making plans for a show after she served her sentence.
“I have been so very successful โ maybe that’ll be some time to work,” she said. “There’s dancing in it!”
