TV screens are about to heat up with CMA Fest's star-studded music event of the summer, hosted by country sensations, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini.
ABC's coverage of this past June's CMA Music Festival is coming to your living room this August and country fans are getting a glimpse of the hottest music event of the summer with a preview of things to come.
Award-winning country artist and co-host of the evening, Thomas Rhett took to Instagram to share a teaser of the special event that has him partnering up with Kelsea Ballerini for an evening of music from the likes of Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church and Sam Hunt.

In the advertisement for the event, Ballerini and Rhett invite a couch-bound couple to join in on the summery fun. As the country stars step out of the couple's television set and into the living room, they reveal the CMA Fest TV special lineup with the promise of a festival-like experience without leaving your home.
They also tease at a plethora of can't-miss collaborations, like Rhett with Maren Morris, Darius Rucker with Karen Fairchild and Dierks Bentley with Cole Swindell.
CMA Fest: The Music Event of the Summer, filmed at the Nissan Stadium and Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville is scheduled to air on ABC on Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
