What Is Kylie Jenner's Net Worth?

Kylie Jenner may be the youngest of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars, but she's also the richest.

The 20-year-old makeup mogul, who topped Forbes annual list of richest "self-made" women, is on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire ever, having built a $900 million fortune in less than three years largely because of her incredibly successful makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics.

She would unseat Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who took the title at the age of 23, according to CBS News.

Jenner's big sister, Kim Kardashian, also made the Forbes list, but with just over a third of her sister's fortune, what Forbes lists as a net worth at $350 million.

The young mom, who welcomed baby Stormi in February, cited social media as the reason for their success in the Forbes profile, saying she harnesses her 110 million followers on Instagram to reach her customers without much in the way of staff or overhead cost.

"Social media is an amazing platform," Jenner said. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers."

Since launching Kylie Cosmetics in 2016, Jenner has sold more than $630 million worth of makeup, including an estimated $330 million in 2017, Forbes reports. That line is worth about $800 million, which means a massive payout for Jenner.

Jenner also said she hopes to pass her business down to Stormi eventually, but only "If she's into it," she said.

The idea for the business, she added, came from her love of putting on makeup as a young woman, which mom Kris Jenner pushed her to turn from a hobby into a business.

She's been vocal in the past as to how much the cosmetics company means to her as well. While being interviewed by mom Kris for Love Magazine‘s Spring/Summer 2018 issue, Kris said, “It’s estimated that in the next few years you could have the biggest beauty brand in the world. How do you think that phenomenon happened?”

"I think truly, I put a lot of hard work into this,” Kylie responded. “It’s not like I’m doing this to make money. I don’t even think about that part. This is just something authentic to me.”
