A new wax figure of Beyoncé is on display at Madame Tussauds in Los Angeles, and there’s one particular detail that has Internet users outraged — it doesn’t look like Queen Bey at all.

The Beyhive has been buzzing with disapproval on Twitter after a photo of the figure from the museum surfaced on social media. The “Formation” singer’s fans are calling out the creation for its noticeably lighter hair color and lighter skin tone.

Beyonce’s fans have been slamming the museum for displaying the figure and even created an Oscars-inspired hashtag, “#TussaudsSoWhite.”

Thousands of fans have taken to Twitter to voice their reaction after seeing the wax figure.
Many believe that the figure more closely resembles several other celebrities more so than the 35-year-old Grammy-winning musician. People have compared the figure to other stars such as Mariah Carey, Shakira, Lindsay Lohan and even Kate Hudson.
“It’s a good thing you’re not talking about *Beyoncé,” one user wrote, “cause this white woman is definitely not her.”

The wax figure shows Beyoncé, or what was intended to be Beyoncé, wearing a sequined purple mini dress, fishnet stockings and thigh-high leather boots. She’s striking a fierce pose while wielding a microphone in her right hand.
While the outfit looks like something that the mother of three might wear on stage, that may be the only detail that actually resembles the icon. Not only is the skin tone and hair color much lighter, but also the facial structure of the figure looks drastically different than Beyonce’s.
They really made Kylie’s wax figure spot on and disrespected Beyonce like that ? pic.twitter.com/d4YBWWTiRK

Because Beyoncé has been an almost permanent fixture in the spotlight since breaking onto the scene in the music industry in the late ’90s, she has been the subject of multiple different wax figures.
Unfortunately, none of the Beyoncé wax figures have appeared to be accurate depictions of the “Halo” songstress.
Even though the Beyhive has been agitated by the poor attempt at making a Beyoncé wax figure, the singer herself likely has more important matters on her mind. She gave birth to twins — Sir and Rumi — last month, and just recently posted one of her first family photos with them on Instagram. Learn more here.
