During their Missouri show on Thursday in Kansas City, Lady Antebellum welcomed Modern Family star, Eric Stonestreet for a little jam session — and the crowd went wild.
As he was one of the fans who turned out for the concert in his hometown, The “Need You Now” singers welcomed Stonestreet to the Sprint Center stage and had him play the drums for a bit.

The ABC actor was provided with VIP treatment, hung out with the band backstage and joked about giving them a pre-show pep talk.
In a video clip posted on the band’s Instagram, Stonestreet said, “I just told the band to have fun with it. I just said, ‘You know what guys, you’ve been here before, you know what you’re doing, this is not your first show, this is like, your 686th show! So go out there and really act like you’ve been here before, you deserve to be here, and just really give the audience everything they deserve.’”
The 45-year-old actor commented on the video shared to Instagram and Twitter, writing, “Dreams DO come true! They are THE BEST band and BEST people, y’all.”
Charles Kelley also shared some video to his own profile, writing, “[Eric Stonestreet] giving Chris some help on his drum solo the other night!”
Stonestreet has a history with country music and revealed earlier this summer that he previously worked as Garth Brooks’ bodyguard in the 1990s before hitting the big time on Modern Family.
The actor took to Instagram last month to share a gallery of photos of himself and Brooks from his time as security for Brooks’ 1995 concert in Manhattan, Kansas. Stonestreet shared photos of Brooks onstage, while he stood serious and stone-faced watching the crowd.
