Fans were surprised and saddened earlier this year when Olivia Newton-John revealed she was suffering from a breast cancer relapse, but now the singer has sent out a video message to let her fans know she is “feeling great.”
As reported by Page Six, Newton-John put out the message to thank her fans for their “kind and loving messages of support over the past few months.”

“Your prayers and well wishes have truly helped me, and continued to lift my spirits. I’m feeling great and so look forward to seeing you soon,” she added.
Newton-John also spoke of a fund-raising campaign she’s a part of saying, “During this healing time โ recovering from my breast cancer relapse โ I’ve had time to reflect on how proud I am of this center, and the important contributions it makes to the lives of the communities it serves.”
“The Wellness Centre programs are improving the lives of people going through cancer. This was my dream, and it’s now a reality.” she concluded.
Not long after Newton-John announced her breast cancer battle a few months ago, her daughter Chloe Lattanzi shared a picture of herself on Instagram and was scolded by followers for appearing “happy” so soon after the devastating news.
“Some woman commented that I couldn’t post happy pictures of myself because of what my mother is going through. I am so sad and no one has any idea what I am going through,” Lattanzi fired back.
“I don’t want my life to be public and this [is] the greatest struggle a daughter could go through. And the last thing I need is someone telling me that I can’t distract myself and post normal creative pics on my Instagram,” she continued.
In spite of the backlash, Lattanzi maintained that her mother would want, and encourage, her to keep pursuing her goals.
“The one thing she told me is to keep being creative positive and take my mind off anything negative. My mom and I are humans and unfortunately my mother’s cancer has to be everyone’s business,” she said.
