Carrie Fisher passed away in December 2016, and the actress’ daughter, Billie Lourd, is set to inherit nearly $7 million from her mother’s estate, TMZ reports.
In new documents filed by the executor of Fisher’s estate, Lourd stands to inherit $6.8 million from her mother, whose most famous film role was that of Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise.

Fisher passed away four days after suffering a cardiac event aboard a plane traveling from London to Los Angeles.
Lourd recently opened up about the loss of her mother and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, in an interview with Town & Country, her first since the actress’ deaths.
“I’ve always kind of lived in their shadows, and now is the first time in my life when I get to own my life and stand on my own,” the 25-year-old said. “I love being my mother’s daughter, and it’s something I always will be, but now I get to be just Billie.”
“It is [scary,]” she added. “It’s a lot of pressure, because she had such an incredible legacy, and now I have to uphold that and make it evolve in my own way.”
