Simpson took to Instagram on Saturday with a photo of her bare leg in with sunlight streaming through a window behind in. In the light’s glow, little fine leg hairs can be seen. Simpson captioned the photo, “Missed a spot…”
The humorous photo sums up a common struggle in many women’s beauty routines that see tiny missed patches that come when shaving legs. Simpson’s followers were quick to praise the mom of two for sharing the real and relatable moment.
“NAILED IT! Thanks for being relevant and honest! That sun catches those missed spots every time,” one follower commented, while others revealed their own challenges with getting a perfect shave.
“I gave up getting every spot long ago,” another follower wrote.
In addition to sharing her shaving struggle, Simpson also shared an adorable photo of her two children, Maxwell Drew and Ace Knute making funny faces for the camera with the caption, “I’m so in love.”
Simpson is someone who clearly values family and has also been supportive of her father, Joe as he underwent a cancer diagnosis last November. However, this week, he revealed to Us Weekly he has beat the disease.
Simpson, 59, spoke at Freedom United Foundation’s Art With a Cause event on Thursday confirming the news saying, “”I’m coming back,”I went from Stage IV to cancer free!”
He added, “I feel good. I beat it. I have zero cancer!”
