New Japan Pro Wrestling stars The Bullet Club have an offer for former WWE champion CM Punk. Nick Jackson of Ring of Honor tag team The Young Bucks reached out to CM Punk on Twitter yesterday ahead of the G1 Special in USA, keeping his message short and TOO SWEET.

CM Punk left the world of professional wrestling back in 2014, ending a decade-long career in the WWE. He departed the company citing illness and dissatisfaction with those beind the scenes, blasting his former employers on social media and choosing to pursue a new career in mixed martial arts, signing with UFC.

As for the Bullet Club, business is good. Though founding members Finn Balor, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, as well as former leader AJ Styles have all crossed-over to successful careers in the WWE, the faction continues to thrive, stealing shows across NJPW and ROH.

Currently under the leadership of Kenny Omega, the Club’s stable now includes former WWE star and current ROH World Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, ROH tag champions The Young Bucks, and rising UK standout “The Villain” Marty Scurll among its ranks.
Although CM Punk has not had a match since his losing UFC bout against Mickey Gall last year, he insists he remains committed to competing in MMA. If he were to ever stage a return to wrestling, it would more than likely have to wait until his contract with UFC is up.

Punk doesn’t talk much about pro wrestling these days in interviews or on social media. When asked in a Sports Illustrated interview last year if he would be open to returning to the ring in a promotion like NJPW, he implied that was more of a possibility than ever rejoining WWE. But mostly he left the matter in vague terms of “never say never.”
It should also be noted that these are just purely speculative at the moment. The Young Bucks are friends with CM Punk and Nick Jackson might just be trolling fans. Don’t expect to see the retired former WWE champ appear with the stable at tonight’s NJPW G1 Special in USA, which is still currently underway in Long Beach.
