It is with heavy hearts that fans learned today that Star Wars‘ Carrie Fisher passed away. Fisher was rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack on a flight home from London last Friday. After being treated for several days, the iconic actress sadly passed away this morning.

Star Wars fans everywhere immediately took to Twitter to pay their respects to Fisher, who of course, played Princess Leia from the original Star Wars in 1977 through Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Among the tributes were many WWE stars who undoubtably grew up with Fisher as one of their icons.
