Just hours after taking his third consecutive pay-per-view loss Randy Orton is already lobbying for another match. Thankfully, it has nothing to do with WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
Instead, Orton has picked out Captain Charisma, Christian for a hopeful opponent.

While Orton spent last night in a Punjabi Prison getting choked out by a returning Great Khali, Christian was teasing a return to in-ring action.

Living up to his name, The Viper would strike at the opportunity to create some excitement.
For F’s sake I hope so….. one more match?? https://t.co/aKefLItg47

It looks like last night’s Punjabi Prison was the final installment between Mahal and Orton, so The Viper’s schedule may be cleared. For Christian, things may be a little more complicated. Christian last competed in WWE back in 2014 but had to retire due to concussion based issues. Head injuries are something WWE takes very seriously these days and if any precedent should be invoked it’s the one of Daniel Bryan.

The SmackDown Live GM has declared himself healthy on multiple occasions However is staunch in their stance to not let him wrestle in the company ever again. Part of this is due to the newfound scrutiny they find themselves under as they face multiple lawsuits from ex-wrestlers who blame WWE for their concussion and subsequent health issues.
Where do we go from here? Well, for Orton, it could be anywhere. It could be RAW. It could be a few months vacation. It could be AJ Styles. There isn’t a bad guess.
For Jinder Mahal, although he’ll remain at the top of WWE’s card, who he’ll be facing is a mystery. Smart money would be on John Cena for a nice patriotic feud leading into SummerSlam. However, WWE just gave us a nice dose of USA-USA tonight and may feel that another America vs. Everybody would be a little much. Then again, maybe not.
