WWE Posts Stunning New Extreme Photo Shoot

The Raw roster is preparing to get extreme this Sunday at their Extreme Rules pay per view. Today WWE wanted to get your prepared for just how extreme they would be getting by posting a stunning new backstage photoshoot with the ladies of Raw.

The shoot included RAW Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, Maryse, Emma and Nia Jax. Only one of these ladies will actually be wrestling in an Extreme Rules match this Sunday, but whatever.

Alexa and Bayley will be fighting in one of the more gimmicky matches on the bout when they face off in a Kendo Stick On A Pole match. The storyline has centered around Bliss’ presumption that Bayley is too pure of heart to be able to attack someone with a kendo stick.

Nia Jax recently criticized the Raw creative team for somehow not finding a way to utilize all the women on the roster, despite the fact that Raw is a three hour show.

The only other women’s match on the Extreme Rules roster will see Sasha Banks teaming with Rich Swann to take on Alicia Fox and Noam Dar.

But that’s enough chatter, onto the photos.

What girl didn’t grow up dreaming of playing with Barbie? Not the silly dolls, of course, but Mick Foley’s famous barbwired bat of the same name. 

If Alexa swings that bat nearly as hard as she does the Kendo Stick I feel sorry for anyone in striking range.

The Raw Women’s Champion may only be listed as Five Feet Of Fury, but this ladderr easily bumps her Fury up to Five Feet Eight Inches.

Emma suffered a shoulder injury several weeks back at a live NXT house show, but recent reports suggest the injury isn’t as bad as some feared. Dave Meltzer believes Emma should be back by mid-June.

As if Nia Jax could look any more intimidating than she already is, here she is posing with the legendary Barbie as well. She’s not like most girls and hopefully she’s using the barbed bat to threaten her writer’s room into getting her back on tv!

Maryse may not be wrestling in a match this Sunday, but she is likely to get involved with The Miz’s Intercontinental Championship match with Dean Ambrose. The match has a uniquely un-extreme stipulation which could see Ambrose lose the Championship if he is disqualified. 

Common logic would have Maryse hit Miz with a chair to begin the match, thus getting Ambrose DQ’d, but wrestling logic is an entirely different beast altogether.
