With only two days left before Christmas it's time to get your last minute shopping in. Loved ones will be gathered around the tree with anticipation; waiting to rip into the packages that have adorned the tree for weeks on end.
Some packages are wrapped with care, while some have been crudely taped together by the hands of a child. Regardless of the wrapping, it's the thought behind the package that means the most.
In the WWE, however, the wrong package can ruin a career. Before Kane was an evil demon, he was a menacing dentist. Several of the WWE's brightest stars are currently victims of poor packaging.
So, in the holiday spirit, here are 5 stars who need repackaging.
The real life younger brother of Bray Wyatt had a nice little comedic run as RAW's motivational speaking jobber, but clearly that gimmick ran its course. Several weeks later, Bo was showing a more vicious side of his personality, only to be vanquished to obscurity once again.
When Bo showed up in Enzo's sensitivity training segment it was clear his time as the Boliever was up. It's time to let Bo join his brother and become the demented, sacrificial lamb of the Wyatt Family!
Ziggler's current gimmick is that he loses big matches. Literally, that is his gimmick. It's time to get rid of the hard worker and bring a heel edge back to Ziggler's persona. Change his hair, change his music, change his HBK tights. Change the whole deal and give this guy something he can run with. he's earned it.
Apollo's gimmick of being a ... um, well ... I'm not exactly sure what his gimmick is. Let's repackage this guy and give him something that the crowd can sink their teeth into.
Not asking for much here. Any type of packaging whatsoever will do!
Someone from the New Day has to branch out on their own, and no one has more potential to be a big star than Big E. Big E doesn't need a total repackage; just drop the unicorn talk and maybe try some new ring gear.
E can still be his hilarious self, but let him embrace the edge in his promos that are able get under the crowd's skin.
I get that they kept Roman in the Shield gear in the hopes that fans would love him as much as they loved the Shield, but I think it's safe to say that it didn't work. Roman is a big, jacked dude with a super cool tattoo. He doesn't need the Shield vest.
Roman's natural persona is a much better fit with what the Usos have going on right now on Smackdown. Reigns would be perfect repackaged as the heel leader of his own "Bloodline" stable that included his actual family, the Usos and Nia Jax. Have him cut promos on how it's his family's destiny to rule the WWE. Just imagine how impressive of a force they could be!
