As reported last night, Samoa Joe captured his first taste of gold under WWE as he hit the Muscle Buster on Finn Balor to win the NXT Championship.

Time will tell if Balor gets a rematch or this is his send off to the main roster in the coming weeks. Judging by the crowd’s reaction, Joe is absolutely over and could make the jump to the main roster as well sooner than later. Balor has been the face of the NXT brand since last year, but as global veteran, shouldn’t have a problem being introduced to either the Raw or SmackDown! brands.
