For the first time since 2003, Goldberg is holding the top prize in the WWE. In somewhere around 22 seconds, the former WCW Legend defeated Kevin Owens to become the new RAW Universal Champion.
Owens’ loss was not without controversy, however, as he was distracted by the theme music of his former friend and now rival, Chris Jericho, as soon as the bell rang.

For the first time in 188 days, Kevin Owens will be without his precious red leather belt while Goldberg has fulfilled a promise that he made to the WWE Universe after his shocking defeat of Brock Lesnar at the 2016 Survivor Series.
As you might imagine, the Internet Wrestling Community had mixed feelings on the victory. While many were thrilled to see their childhood hero once again stand on top of the wrestling mountain, there were plenty who were disgusted to see a “part-timer” seemingly “bury” Kevin Owens right before WrestleMania.
