Ronda Rousey changing careers from MMA to professional wrestling is one of the hottest rumors in the wrestling industry. Should it actually happen, it would be one of the most interesting crossovers into wrestling in several years.

Recent reports suggests that Rousey is preparing to do just that. Yesterday on Pop Culture, we published an article rounding up many of the recent rumors concerning Rousey's future. Fightful.com has reported that Rousey has been referred to Brian Kendrick for training in California, which would be a massive development.

It's no secret that Rousey is a lifelong wrestling fan. She and the rest of her entourage (her own so-called "4 Horsewomen") have often attended wrestling events in the past, most recently a taping for the WWE Mae Young Classic women's tournament in Florida.

Triple H was asked about the Rousey rumors in an interview with CBS for a podcast that will be published on Wednesday. In regards to Rousey's attendance at the WWE women's tournament, Triple H said, "I don't know that I ever once looked out at the crowd and saw her without this ear-to-ear grin on her face. She was like a little kid after every break there would be when I would talk to her -- like a little kid. What that means? Unsure. What that means down the line? I think she's unsure."

CBS asked Triple H about the rumors that Rousey was starting to train for professional wrestling. Downplaying any WWE involvement, Triple H said that no conversations have occurred between WWE and Rousey since the tournament taping in Florida. He did say, though, that they would be willing to talk to Rousey about future involvement with the company if she is looking in that direction.

"I think [Rousey] is in a transition period in her life and is in a great place. I think she's getting married soon or something. Look, she has got a lot going on, but I'm all about creating opportunities. That's what the Mae Young Classic is all about -- creating opportunities for these women that they never had before. If Ronda Rousey wants that opportunity, I'd be happy to talk to her about it," Triple H told CBS.

The other members of Rousey's "Four Horsewomen" entourage have reportedly all started training for pro wrestling. This includes Jessamyn Duke (training in California) and Marina Shafir (engaged to Roderick Strong). The fourth member, Shayna Baszler, is a competitor in the WWE women's tournament, which was the explanation for the group being in attendance in Florida to watch her compete. This also adds fuel to the rumors that a WWE Four Horsewomen (Charlotte, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch) vs. MMA Four Horsewomen match is in the works.
