After years of tension, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are officially tag team partners.

At SummerSlam, the reunited Shield brothers will challenge Cesaro and Sheamus for the RAW Tag Team Titles.

Ambrose opened RAW and he was in quite the mood. Frustrated by Rollins Leaving him hanging at the close of last week's show, he demanded Rollins come out and explain himself. On cue, Rollins showed and the two had a long emotional stand off. Frustration began to mount and eventually spilled over as the two man found himself in a brawl.

As they got their licks in, out comes Cesaro and Sheamus to inflict more damage. Rolling and Ambrose rallied and would clear the ring of the RAW Tag Team Champions.

With the ring emptied, Rollins and Ambrose huffed in place for a moment. Dean put in his fist the removed it. Seth offered his fist, then took it away. Then in one cathartic moment, the first collided in perfect synchronization.

The crowd exploded for this moment. So did Ambrose. At the celebration's fever pitch, Kurt Angle's music hit. Before the Boston audience could even finish chanting "You Suck" at Angle's chorus, the RAW General Manager decreed that Rollins and Ambrose will team against Cesaro and Sheamus at SummerSlam.

Wow.

Just because we saw this coming does not make this moment less cool. We can fully assume that Rollins and Ambrose will leave SummerSlam as Champions. Sheamus is set to leave WWE to film a movie, so it seems like the stars have aligned. That and in Rollins and Ambrose, WWE has the stick of dynamite. This is the hottest program WWE has created in quite some time.

This is great for the tag division as it needs some help. The Hardys' are hemorrhaging momentum and relevance by the week. Maybe the worst thing they can do it keep teasing the arrival of their Broken gimmick. It may never come and every day it's delayed, fans will grow tired of chasing it.

The Revival may be great, but they sure do have a hard time staying healthy. Anderson and Gallows look to be going neither up nor down for at least the next 5 years. And with that, there's literally nothing left of the RAW Tag Team Division to cover!

Expect a torrid run by Ambrose and Rollins in the tag division. It's going to be fun.
