The saga between former WWE Superstars Alberto El Patron and Paige seems to be growing by the day. Since their airport incident, Paige has publicly accepted culpability for the disturbance. It may be the one truth in all of this mess.

Pro Wrestling Sheet, via a representative of the Orlando Police Department, reported that Paige could officially be charged with battery. Here's the quote:

"OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney's Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case."

The latest story completely contradicts Paige's first claims that the lady in the airport was the one who threw a drink on El Patron. Once audio was released of their actual interaction, the couple had no choice but to change their story.

As previously reported, Alberto and Paige were involved in an airport altercation on Sunday (possibly with another female) that resulted in El Patron being detained by Orlando police. Although he was not arrested nor are any charges currently pending, the matter is still open and under investigation by local authorities, as well as internally by GFW. Since, Del Rio has been suspended by GFW and was stripped of another championship by Paige's family's wrestling promotion.

While we don't know what really happened at the airport, Paige attempting to take the blame seems to fall directly in line with other concerning behaviors.Paige's family is now starting to weigh in, voicing their concern over her relationship with Global Force Wrestling's World Champion. Her brother recently took to social media to plea for her to get away from El Patron for fear she would "end up like Whitney Houston or Amy Winehouse."

The couple have become known for their volatile nature and public outbursts. Del Rio made headlines last week for an expletive-ridden Instagram post where he challenged both Triple H and Xavier Woods to a fight, as well as trashing the WWE in his Impact Slammiversary PPV victory speech.

This story is still developing.
