It may only be a matter of days before Matt Hardy is able to unleash his "Broken" brilliance on the WWE. The former Tag Team Champion noted on Twitter that the "Great War" was days away from ending, appearing to reference the ongoing trademark issues with Anthem and GFW/Impact Wrestling regarding the rights to the "Broken" universe.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Hardy has teased his "Broken" creation's debut with 'Vince Meek Mahon's' WWE. Ever since The Hardys made their return at WrestleMania 33, Matt and the WWE Universe has been dying to unleash the personas that made them a cult favorite during their last days in TNA.
The Hardys will get a chance to regain their WWE Tag Team Championships this Sunday at WWE Great Balls Of Fire Pay Per View when they take on Sheamus and Cesaro. Win or lose, it could potentially serve as the perfect catalyst to "break" the Hardys.
As mentioned, Matt Hardy has teased this monumental moment many times via Twitter. Although there's legal limitation at play, Hardy still uses recognizable gestures and facial expression to his sensation TNA character. It's clear, Matt Hardy is committed to bringing that treasured act to WWE.
In an interview with Corey Grave, both Matt and Jeff hinted at their own runs as singles competitors. Whether or not WWE has intentions of splitting the tag team is unknown, but it sounds like the brothers will at least be pitching the idea to WWE creative.
Tonight's RAW will be the tag team's first opportunity to hint towards a possible breaking is in the works for Great Balls of Fire. Keep an eye out, fans.
