Of all the stars of WWE’s New Era, Seth Rollins’ shines the brightest.
Having wrestled all over the country in major independent promotions, Rollins, alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose cemented their legacy in the WWE as members of The Shield. Rollins and Reigns would soon capture the WWE Tag Team Championship, but it was Rollins who wanted to make a name for himself and aligned with the villainous Authority to be Triple H’s top prospect.

Rollins is one of three men to have held the ROH World Championship as well as the only wrestler to have won the NXT, ROH, and WWE World Championships. Rollins is the first WWE Champion that is actually younger than WrestleMania having won the prestigious title at WrestleMania 31 at the age of 28. He held on to the title for most of 2015 until a serious injury put him on the shelf for 7 months.
As Seth recently returned to the WWE, attacking his former partner and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Rollins is looking to reclaim the his throne.
What does 2016 hold for the Architect? We’ll have to find out as it comes, but today, we celebrate one of WWE’s most gifted athletes.
