UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, arguably the biggest draw in mixed martial arts, has supposedly announced his retirement on Twitter. Earlier today, the UFC fighter unexpectedly posted that he had “decided to retire young” without providing any sort of clarification or follow-up.

Thanks for the cheese.
Catch ya’s later.
No one, not even respected sports sites can tell if McGregor is serious or if he’s simply engaging in another round of his famed pre-match psychological warfare. If his retirement is for real, this is a huge loss for the UFC, as they were hoping for UFC 200 to be one of their biggest pay per views in history.
