Until recently, the Women's revolution had stalled. It's not exactly anyone's fault, WWE keeps a busy schedule and an ever expanding roster. Qualifiers aside, the war cry for women's wrestling begun to fade.

But just a little bit of controversy has sprung it back to life.

When James Ellsworth won the first ever Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, the WWE Universe exploded in outrage. How much of this was intended by WWE is anyone's guess, but now all of that is beside the point. People care more about women's wrestling more than ever.

WWE looks to be running with it as the stage for women has never been brighter. Last week's RAW closed with a spectacular Women's Gauntlet match which features Nia Jax being the monster she's destined to be and a heroic performance by Sasha Banks.

WWE strung together smart decisions when Carmella officially became Ms. Money on in the Bank. It feels that with Netflix's GLOW playing in the background, women's wrestling is pushing to the forefront of professional wrestling.

That said, who's got the hotter place for women's wrestling, RAW or SmackDown? To solve that, we have to start with each title. Luckily, I have just the chart to explain which championship is climbing and which is falling.

RAW Women's Championship

June proved to be a tough month for the RAW title. As excited as we all were for the Alexa Bliss era, is been just as disappointing. It may not be her fault, though. Somehow, the best talker in WWE got saddled with the worst segment in recent memory, Bayley This is Your Life.

Which reminds me. Bayley, despite being supported by more goodwill from the WWE crowd since Eugene, she's managed to really fumble her main event opportunities. Pairing her with Bliss was a mistake in hindsight, a goof that will likely cost Bayley in the future.

Bliss and Bayley's limp feud really hurt the RAW title. It was the first time Charlotte was out of the show's main event picture and it showed. Although Bliss is a more than an able champion, she has much to prove.

Help is on the way, though. Nia Jax looked like a star last week and although she won't be challenging for the title in the immediate future, her time at the top feels imminent.

Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss has potential to be truly great. An exceptional feud could serve as a defining moment of the women's revolution and the RAW title.

SmackDown Women's Title

Despite the Blue Brand's title being utilized so poorly at the moment (sorry Lana), the stock of this championship is in full rocket launcher mode.

Since we know that it's not Naomi and Lana that has us all excited, it has to be what happens next. Ironically the only person to rival Big Cass for Heel of 2017 is his real life girlfriend Carmella. As Ms. Money in the Bank, she's been nothing less than wretched.

It's perfect.

All eyes will be on this week's July 4th episode of SmackDown as another re-match was awarded to Lana. The 3rd match between her and Naomi in 2 weeks is worth lifting an eyebrow - a plan could be in the works. Could we see a cash-in?

A question like that will have us all turning in on Tuesday. As mentioned, even some of most apathetic of wrestling fans find themselves getting invested into SmackDown's women program. And because of this, its chart is going vertical.

Verdict

It gives me great pleasure to tell you that both RAW and SmackDown's championships are worth getting invested. Hooray, women's wrestling!
