Tonight is the night TNA will air their Total Nonstop Deletion edition of Impact Wrestling! The event will become the first of its kind, taped several weeks back at Matt Hardy’s compound in North Carolina. Half-movie, half-wrestling event, Nonstop Deletion is guaranteed to be the most ridiculous event on television this year.

The main event of tonight’s show will be the much-hyped “Apocalypto” match with TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys defending against several tag teams. Tonight’s show will also see TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Edwards defend against Bobby Lashley in a Dome of Deletion match. Another match announced for tonight will see Matt’s infant son make his in-ring debut.

It’s believed TNA has several surprises lined up for tonight’s show. Jeff Hardy has announced that his Itchweeed persona will be appearing. TNA has announced that Sienna will be appearing on tonight’s show, as well as The Decay and The Helms Dynasty.

It’s going to be absolutely insane in the most literal and metaphorical sense of the word. So, here are the 5 reasons you need to watch Total Nonstop Deletion!

5. King Maxel makes his in-ring debut

Toddler child of Matt Hardy will be making his pro wrestling debut tonight against Rockstar Spud!

If it sounds completely insane, well, that’s because it is.ย

Here’s Matt talking about his son’s training in an interview with The Rack Radio Show:

“He has been training very, very intensely; he has been up and he has been walking and running a couple of miles a day. He has been hitting the gym very hard; he is building the strength in his ligaments and tendons and I have been working with him very closely with all his technique and fundamentals in the ring. He is going to be prepared…”

But what will his finisher be?

“Ah, his finisher! I cannot divulge that information at this time but it’s going to be absolutely incredible.”

4. Bobby Lashley and a volcano

Lashley volcano

Jeff Hardy recently sat down with Todd Matthy to discuss the match and had this to say:ย

“Bobby Lashley, this badass dude who’s killing it in the MMA world, is fighting on a volcano that blows up. Fights take place on a truck, motorcycles, everything is involved, it’s not just a wrestling match, it’s a movie.”

I always thoughtย something was missing when Lashley was in the WWE but I could never quite put my finger on it. Now it seems so clearย – volcanoes!

3. TNA needs this!

ย

No matter how many times we’ve gotten hopeful about TNA getting a new start, it’s always fell flat. Whether it was bringing in Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan or Billy Corgan, TNA has always stalled out. But we need TNA to be competitive. WWE wrestlers need to have another high paying organization that could steal them away if we’re ever going to get back anywhere close to the glory days of the Monday Night Wars.ย Here’s what Matt Hardy had to say about TNA’s new management.ย

“I just think that the whole issue with TNA is they are having some overall issues with management, but I think we have a new opportunity. I know a lot of people haven’t met the Anthem people or the Fight Network people, but I think it is going to do wonders for the company.

I think in many, many ways they have a fresh slate as far as management for the company. On the talent side, it is greater than ever. The locker room is extremely talented, and I think they are extremely willing to go out there and become the success that they have the potential to be.”

2. The Apocalypto Match

Jeff Hardy was recently on Ring Rust Radio where he gave a little insight into the event.ย

“It is going to be the most magnificent event ever known to mankind,” Hardy said. “Anthem, who is the new majority shareholders for Impact Wrestling now, are looking into new things and new interesting and riveting concepts. I was selected to actually promote and book my own show. It’s going to emanate from the Hardy compound. The main event is going to be Apocalypto, a war tag team title match. This match is where myself and Brother Nero must prove that we are the greatest tag team of all space and time. We have invited every great tag team across space and time including champion teams from the Honorable Ring such as the Bucks of Youth and the Vince MeekMahon show we have invited the Day of New. We wanted all these tag teams to come and enjoy with us. We have had one legendary, iconic tag team the Rock ‘n Roll Express, they are going to partake in Apocalypto.”

First off, none of the WWE teams will be there, but the Express of Rock N Roll will be and they are likely in their late 60s right now, still rocking the mullets.ย

1. We owe it to Matt Hardy

Broken Matt Hardy

#Broken Matt Hardy is conceptually changing the way some people watch wrestling. What started as a seemingly awful gimmick has morphed into a brilliant, self-aware dramedy that includes all of the elements we love about sports entertainment. TNA has allowed Hardy to cross promote with ROH, Evolve and other indy organizations, giving wrestling fans dream matches they used to have to wait ages for.ย

The invitations he extended to the other great teams across the globe were not just for hype.

“I don’t know. I have offered it to them, and I’m sure in the next week I’m going to be even more intense with the offer. Let’s say they would send the Day of the New to Apocalypto and to appear on an Impact Wrestling show. This would be the most grandest, most magnificent Impact Wrestling show of all time. Then maybe Brother Nero and I would go to one of their shows like one of their Raw shows or SmackDown shows.

I am willing to do business and I’m willing to play ball with anyone for I am very open-minded. It is Vince MeekMahon that is very close-minded and afraid to do this, so I don’t know. Maybe I have to go there personally and get in his face and delete him to change his mind.”

Who wouldn’t want to live in a world where unpredictablity rules the wrestling landscape?

This odyssey will take you on an adventure into a new dimension of the most innovative two hours of IMPACT ever. IMPACT Wrestling’s “Total Non-Stop Deletion,” presented by “The Greatest Tag Team In All of Space and Time,” Matt and Jeff Hardy, will air December 15, 2016 from Cameron, NC on Pop at 8PM EST/7PM CST.
