Despite admitting himself into the ICU this weekend for “routine” heart monitoring, it was his colon that caused yesterday’s surgery. According to F4WOnline, Flair needed a blockage in his colon removed. The obstruction was the root of several health issues, including kidney failure. WWE was told that Flair is on kidney dialysis.
According to the same report, Flair was already scheduled for a surgery this week, but it’s unknown if yesterday’s operation was the one scheduled. This may be considered good news if Flair was already booked for surgery, thus removing the emergent aspect of his health. Regardless, Flair’s situation is still being called “extremely serious.”

The concern for Flair’s well-being has sparked endless support for the 16x champion. His daughter Charlotte posted her thanks to friends, family, and fans for showing their love for him.
“Hi guys, On behalf of my family and I, we want to THANK everyone for the prayers, texts, calls, and support. Our Dad is a FIGHTER and your continued thoughts and prayers MEAN THE WORLD to us. We will update everyone when we have more information,” she wrote.
