Just weeks after returning to the WWE main roster, it appears there is another roadblock ahead for The Revival.

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Scott Dawson has suffered an injury to his right bicep. At this point, it is not clear when the injury occurred. Numerous fan photographs from a Saturday night house show in Saint John, New Brunswick show Dawson with his bicep heavily wrapped in tape. A post from Dash Wilder's official Twitter page also show the taped up arm.

The injury is reportedly a tear of the right bicep, and Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that surgery options are being discussed at WWE. According to the report, surgery would require Dawson to be out of action for somewhere around four to six months. A partial tear could heal without surgery in three to six weeks.

It was thought that The Revival was going to take on the Hardy Boyz at SummerSlam in a tag team match. That match would obviously appear to be in severe jeopardy at this point, leaving the Hardys without a dance partner at the second biggest show of the year.

This is really bad timing for The Revival who just haven't had much luck since making their debut on the main roster. Since they are one of the top tag teams in the history of WWE NXT, watching them struggle to stay healthy on the main roster has been frustrating. Dash Wilder just returned a few weeks ago from a fractured jaw.
