Brock Lesnar may be gone from WWE after SummerSlam.

After Kurt Angle finished his hometown promo, The Beast Incarnate's music smashed through the arena. Lesnar was confirmed for tonight's RAW on late notice so the sting of his music seemed to catch the crowd off guard. When the Universal Champion manifested from behind the curtain, the crowd went nuts.

Down come the Beast and Paul Heyman. They join Kurt Angle in the ring and Heyman instantly begins accusing the Olympic Gold Medalist of conspiring against he and his client.

For his insolence, Heyman has a stipulation. If Brock Lesnar doesn't leave SummerSlam as Universal Champion, then he along with Heyman will leave the WWE.

Yikes.

Call it a coincidence, but this comes at a time where the state of Brock Lesnar in WWE is under stringentquestioning. Lesnar spent all of last week amidst a swirl of UFC Rumors.

Following his third-round KO win against Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 this weekend, Light Heavyweight Jon Jones called out WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Jones didn't mince words in his message to The Beast, saying "If you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by someone who weighs 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the Octagon."

Lesnar immediately issued his own response to Jones' challenge last night via The Associated Press, warning the UFC champ "Be careful what you wish for, young man."

A UFC super-fight pitting Jones against Lesnar, may be likely to go down in the near future. Both fighters have fueled recent rumors, but several obstacles remain. Lesnar has to finish out serving a one-year suspension after failing two drug tests in connection with his fight against Mark Hunt at UFC 200 last year. When Lesnar retired from MMA, his suspension was frozen. He must be back in the testing pool for a full four months before he's able to fight. Last time he fought he was granted a testing exemption, but this resulted in his suspension and a civil lawsuit filed by his opponent. He's also currently under contract with the WWE until next year's WrestleMania 34.

Tonight's big news only adds to the speculation that Lesnar is in fact leaving. However, it needs to be underlined that Lesnar can not compete in UFC for at least 5 months. So while he may be "leaving" WWE it may be only for him to make an explosive comeback.
