For those that may not be sure, the Women's Revolution has been tremendously successful. In only 2 years time, women's wrestling has drastically changed. If you're not buying, Sasha Banks would like to offer a few points: The Boss recently spoke with Stuff of New Zealand where she mainly discussed the evolution of women in sports.

"Just two years ago we were considered Divas, that was our brand name, and we had a championship that was in the shape of a butterfly. I was like 'This is not us, we're not Divas, we're Superstars.' And so two years ago we changed that. We have all different shapes, sizes, all different looks, and it's so beautiful to see, because legit five years ago it was all models."

Banks seems to think that this new scope on women's wrestling is a by-product of the world paying more attention to women's sports in general:

"From Ronda Rousey, to the US soccer team, to Serena Williams, women are just killing it in sports around the world. Five years ago we weren't given this opportunity that we're having now to be equal to the men."

There are some who think WWE's Women's Revolution is little more than a publicity aiming to assuage complaints against neglect. Upon some light investigating that argument can be easily squelched.

Women now find themselves an integral part of WWE's product. More so than ever, the ladies in WWE are featured as competitors rather than eye candy. Instead of bra and panties matches, we have been given women's Hell in a Cell Matches. Instead of mud wrestling, WWE's women now compete in ladder matches. Even further, the girls of WWE have become priorities on the card. Gone are the days of 2-minute formality - women are trending towards becoming headliners.

Banks herself has been one of the figureheads of this movement along with Charlotte Flair. Sasha finds herself currently entwined with RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss. Banks has been removed from the women's main event since WrestleMania and now looks to be heading towards a SummerSlam showdown against the champion.
