Shane McMahon made history tonight when he announced the first ever Women’s Money In The Bank match. When Charlotte, Carmella, Tamina, Becky Lynch and Natalya brawled throughout the arena to the point where the SmackDown commish had to enter the ring and drop some history on the WWE Universe.

The June 18th Money In the Bank pay-per-view will feature the first-ever match of its kind for the Women’s Division. It’s been 7 long years since the Money In The Bank concept came into play and yet, somehow, the women have been left out of the fun.

Two years ago, the #GiveDivasAChance movement led to a full-on Women’s Revolution. Fans were ready to see women treated as real wrestlers, not just eye candy that swatted at each other with pillows in bra and panties matches.

Now, both brands are competing to see which one can be first to break new ground in the women’s division. We saw Charlotte and Sasha Banks make history last year when they main evented the first ever women’s Hell In A Cell match and this year, Charlotte became the first woman to main event a Raw, SmackDown, and Pay Per View in WWE history.

Twitter came through with some huge reactions for the historic news. Here are some of the best.
