Every TV Show, Movie, and Original Coming to Netflix This Week (September 2)

'Selling Sunset' Season 8, 'Apolli 13: Survival,' and more hit Netflix this week.

Netflix's streaming library is getting even more stocked with the arrival of September. After kicking off the month with the addition of dozens of new titles, including fan-favorites like Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Paul Blart: Mall Cop, Netflix will enter a new week by checking off 13 more titles from the September 2024 content list.

Along with more licensed content – Call the Midwife: Series 13 and The Hughleys: Seasons 1-4 arrive this week – the streamer will stock 11 more Netflix originals in the library. The roundup includes all-new titles like the debut of the original documentary Apollo 13: Survival and Caught in the Web: The Murders Behind Zona Divas, as well as Phil Wang's new comedy special Wang in There, Baby. This week will also see the return of several fan-favorite Netflix original reality shows, with Last One Standing back for Season 3, Selling Sunset dropping Season 8, and the survival reality competition Outlast returning for its second outing.

You can watch all of these titles and more by signing up for one of the streamer's three subscription plans – the basic with ads plan ($7 per month), the standard plan ($15.50 per month), and the premium plan ($20 per month). The latter three plans give subscribers access to the complete Netflix streaming library, but content availability is slightly limited on the Netflix with ads plan. 'Last One Standing': Season 3

Premiere Date: Tuesday, Sept. 3
Type: Netflix Series
Synopsis: "Hosted by Chidori, Last One Standing is a unique show that features comedians sharing their personal stories, with the catch that if they're not funny, they're immediately eliminated. This sharp-edged rule, leading to a constant stream of hilarious episodes, has won the show a wide fanbase. The show also features a dramatic segment where comedians undertake challenges alongside accomplished actors. Season 2 swept Japan off its feet, introducing new challengers in a world-altering incident set in a large hospital and a mysterious organization rife with conspiracies, staking their survival on their ability to entertain. The show made headlines by topping Netflix's "Today's TV Program Top 10" the day after its release and debuting at number 2 in Netflix Japan's Top 10."

'Outlast': Season 2

Premiere Date: Wednesday, Sept. 4
Type: Netflix Series
Synopsis: "A raw survival competition series where 16 lone wolf experts are dropped in the Alaskan wilderness and must outlast each other in a battle for a million dollar payout. There's only one rule in this cut throat game: they must be part of a team to win."

'Apollo 13: Survival'

Premiere Date: Thursday, Sept. 5
Type: Netflix Documentary
Synopsis: "Just nine months after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon, NASA faced its greatest crisis – three astronauts stranded halfway to the moon on a spacecraft that had suffered a catastrophic explosion."

'Caught in the Web: The Murders Behind Zona Divas'

Premiere Date: Thursday, Sept. 5
Type: Netflix Documentary
Synopsis: "In the dark underbelly of Mexico City, women seeking a better life find themselves entangled in an online escort network, without imagining that it would all culminate in a series of femicides."

'Selling Sunset': Season 8

Premiere Date: Friday, Sept. 6
Type: Netflix Series
Synopsis: "Luxe real estate. Major drama. The top real estate brokers at The Oppenheim Group are back! Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality series set in the world of LA's high-end real estate, follows seven of the city's most successful female realtors who all work under the same roof at the #1 agency in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip.
