Two pranksters in Phoenix, Arizona thought starting a fire causing a chain reaction to a fireworks display in Walmart would be a good idea. They clearly did not consider how dangerous the situation could get as video shows the entire fireworks display rack ablaze presenting an extremely dangerous threat to anyone in the area.
The video shows sparks flying in all directions. There are store patrons running away from the area as the culprits filmed from their cell phones.

Luckily for the police, the suspects were caught on the store’s surveillance video. Walmart was able to evacuate people before anyone got hurt, and the authorities were able to contain the fire and explosives before the rest of the store went up in flames.
The authorities were able to contain the fire before it made its to the charcoal, lighter fluid, and propane nearby that would have definitely caused a tremendous amount of damage.
Upon arrest, the two culprits may face up to 20 years in prison. The crime could potentially be classified as a class 2 felony, which is just beneath murder charges in terms of the severity of the crime according to SPLOID.
Hopefully the criminals felt the prank was worth it as they will undoubtedly be facing serious charges when caught and when they are sentenced in court.
