The “Play It Again” singer who turned 41 years old this past month had the chance to celebrate two days earlier while on tour for his “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day Tour.”
While in Cleveland, Bryan’s wife Caroline and eldest son, Thomas “Bo” Boyer paid him a visit to share in on his milestone celebration. The two even sung “Happy Birthday” to him backstage.
The footage, featured in the latest episode of “LBTV,” shows the former CMA Entertainer of the Year surprised when he saw the birthday cake they brought along.
Large and beautifully crafted, Bryan’s birthday cake was everything he could imagine, paying homage to what he loves doing most โ fishing. Shaped like a salmon, Bryan exclaimed, “Oh, well look at that. That’s an awesome cake.”
This past week, Bryan’s name was pulled into the headlines after talks for the next judges of American Idol broke out. The ABC singing competition has already locked down Katy Perry as its first judge, but is now narrowing down the search for the remaining three spots.
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that ABC and its producers are considering Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and Charlie Puth to join the panel.
