The Country Music Association Awards aired its latest emotional memorial segment, but it did more than cause sadness.
Many viewers were irritated at the camerawork done on the segment. Carrie Underwood led the emotional number, and the camera spent a lot of time on her.

While that’s usually not a big deal, putting the American Idol alum front and center meant that the names and photos of the late country stars were blocked or not shown.

Even when they were shown, fans complained that the text was way too small to read.
The whole bit was just seen as disrespectful to the late personalities who were supposed to be memorialized.

Another added, “Bad move CMAs! In Memoriam is about those who passed. We couldn’t read at least half the names or see the pictures!”
