Nikki Glaser and Judd Apatow have more than just a comedic connection.
After the This Is 40 director mentioned while presenting at the 2026 Golden Globes that the comedian used to babysit his and Leslie Mann’s daughters — Euphoria star Maude Apatow, 28, and The Bubble‘s Iris Apatow, 23 — Glaser took to social media to confirm their history.

“You know, Nikki Glaser used to be our babysitter,” Judd said during Sunday’s award show, which was hosted by Glaser. “That’s true, she was our babysitter, and she was like, ‘I do stand-up comedy.’”

Glaser then took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, writing over a screenshot of Judd talking about the matter, “100% true. Summer 2007.”
This isn’t the first time that Glaser has spoken about working for the Apatow family. In 2011, she told Vulture, “I babysat for Judd Apatow when I lived in LA. It was a great gig, but it pained me to be around such greatness and only be known as a nanny.”
She added, “I’ll just never love your kid as much as you do. It’s impossible.”
Soon after, Glaser told The Washington Post that the Apatow kids “were super-funny,” adding that the experience “made me wish I grew up in a comedy household.”

Judd and Glaser have worked together in the years following her household employment, with the comedian appearing in Judd’s 2015 film Trainwreck opposite Amy Schumer. The pair have another project in the works as well, with The Hollywood Reporter reporting in October that Glaser would star, co-write and produce a “modern, edgy” romantic comedy with Judd for Universal Pictures.
There aren’t many details that have been released about the untitled project, but Emmy-nominated writer Sean O’Connor is confirmed to be writing the script with Glaser.
